  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup cooked quinoa
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices vegan cheese
  • 4 whole grain burger buns
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Tomato slices
  • Pickles
  • Ketchup and mustard for serving

Instructions

Follow these steps for perfect results

  1. In a large bowl, mash the black beans until mostly smooth.
  2. Add cooked quinoa, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
