  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 whole grain hotdog buns
  • Condiments of choice (mustard, ketchup, relish, etc.)

Instructions

Follow these steps for perfect results

  1. In a bowl, mash the black beans with a fork until mostly smooth.
  2. Add rolled oats, chopped onion, minced garlic, soy sauce, smoked paprika, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper to the mashed beans.
  3. Mix until well combined and form into hotdog shapes.
