- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup cooked quinoa
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 slices vegan cheese
- 4 whole grain burger buns
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Pickles
- Ketchup and mustard for serving
Instructions
Follow these steps for perfect results
- In a large bowl, mash the black beans until mostly smooth.
- Add cooked quinoa, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into 4 patties.
